From Faith to Fulfillment: Florence’s Journey to Islam

Florence was raised in a devoted Christian home, she grew up praising Jesus and attending church faithfully. Islam was something she had heard about, but only from a distance. She never truly understood what Muslims believed, and she never had the opportunity to ask.

One day, she met a group of duats who spoke to her kindly about Islam. They explained the oneness of God—clear, simple, and absolute. They told her that Muslims love and honor Jesus as a prophet, but worship God alone. For the first time, Islam made sense to her

.

Her questions were answered with patience. Her doubts were met with wisdom.

Florence went home and reflected deeply. The message of one God, without partners, resonated with her soul. After days of thought and prayer, her heart felt certain.

With courage and conviction, she declared the Shahada and adopted the name Zainab.
