During a morning village outreach, iERA duat crossed paths with Owori, a Catholic man on his way to do his usual garden work. Pausing his routine, he sat with the duat as they introduced him to Islam, using the GORAP approach to explain the beauty and Oneness of Allah. While deeply attentive, Moses was not ready to embrace the faith right away. However, he warmly accepted their invitation to attend a New Muslim class to listen and learn more.

Moses chose to visit on a Friday during the Jumu’ah prayer. As the duat welcomed him once again, the surrounding environment deeply touched his heart. He revealed a secret he had been keeping: he had long been drawn to Islam because of the profound brotherhood, neatness, and genuine kindness he saw among Muslims. Moved by experiencing that warmth firsthand, his lingering hesitation disappeared. Moses took his Shahadah with full conviction and proudly adopted the name Musa to begin his new journey in Islam.
