The iERA Uganda team has successfully completed a three-day orientation program aimed at reinforcing their mission of spreading the Prophetic mission.
The program serves as a crucial reminder for the Duat and Coordinators of their responsibilities and the best practices for carrying out their Prophetic mission in their respective destinations.
Throughout the orientation, the team was reminded of how they can effectively fulfill their duties while on their mission.
Brother Yusuf Damulira, the education officer at iERA Uganda, emphasized the importance of upholding iERA’s codes of conduct.
He urged the team to exhibit good morals while spreading dawah, setting a positive example for others, especially non-Muslims.
Brother Yusuf also reminded the team about what they are supposed to teach new Muslims attending classes, stressing the significance of adhering to the syllabus.
He cautioned against attacking other people’s religions, warning that such actions could lead to unnecessary arguments and foster negative feelings towards Islam.
Brother Hassan provided valuable insights on the appropriate types of pictures the team should take while on the field, ensuring their visual documentation is respectful and appropriate.
Meanwhile, Brother Sentamu, the district head, re-emphasized the need for maintaining discipline in their dawah mission.
He appealed to the team to carry out their duties effectively, reminding them that the rewards from Allah await those who are diligent and sincere in their efforts.
The orientation program is organized for one district at the end of each month, following a retreat, with the aim of continuously improving the team’s work.
With their renewed sense of purpose and the guidance provided during the orientation, the iERA Uganda team is well-prepared to embark on their mission, spreading the message of Islam with compassion, respect, and integrity.
