A 55-year-old woman from the Lake Zone spent her entire life as a Roman Catholic. Yet within just one month of embracing Islam, she has already become an inspiration to many through her unwavering commitment and her radiant enthusiasm for her new faith.
Since accepting Islam, her transformation has been remarkable. Her eagerness to learn, her dedication in practicing the religion, and her active participation in Islamic studies surpass even those of some lifelong Muslims. To her neighbors and relatives, she has become a powerful example of sincerity, courage, and spiritual renewal.
When the IERA team visited her home to offer guidance and encouragement, she spoke with admirable confidence and conviction. She declared, “Nitahakikisha watu wote wafahamu kuwa mimi ni Muislamu”—I will make sure everyone knows that I am a Muslim.
She went on to share her experience openly: “I was a Roman Catholic, and I have decided to become a Muslim. I have seen a big difference after becoming a Muslim.” These changes, she explained, brought her a sense of clarity and peace she had long sought.
Her determination remains unwavering. She has promised to attend classes every single day, eager to deepen her understanding of Islam and build her new life on truth, knowledge, and certainty.
