She stood her ground!

Rehema is a brave young woman from a Tanzanian village who embraced Islam despite the challenges she faced. She was inspired by her friend, a new Muslim who was learning from iERA outreach. She used to attend the new Muslim classes with her friend, even before she accepted Islam. The Duat noticed her interest and shared the message of Islam with her, inviting her to join the straight path. She was hesitant at first, but one day she decided to take the leap of faith and declare her shahada. She said: “I have loved to become Muslim through the behavior of my friend and also on how she dressed.”
She was determined to practice Islam, even when her family and church opposed her. She fasted secretly during Ramadhan, and resisted the attempts of Christian preachers to sway her. She keeps up with her social activities whilst still learning Islam. She can now recite Surat al-Fatiha and perform ablution and all of the obligatory things. She is a shining example of courage and conviction for all new Muslims.
