In a world filled with distractions, a group of over 40 Muslim students from various universities and learning institutions in Uganda took a three-day pause to focus on a greater purpose. Hosted by iERA Uganda, this intensive training was designed to equip them with the tools and confidence to share the message of Islam—or da’wah—within their communities.
The training, aptly titled “Is Life Just a Game?”, sought to reframe the purpose of existence and inspire a renewed commitment to the prophetic mission. Under the guidance of iERA Uganda’s Education Officer, the students delved into the core principles of inviting others to Islam, learning the beauty and importance of this calling.
The final day of the training was marked by a powerful closing session led by key figures from the organization. The Country Manager and Regional Manager, Brother Arshad, along with Operations Officer Brother Abdurahman, joined the students and other guests to reflect on the journey. Brother Arshad praised the attendees for their dedication, reminding them that by embracing this mission, they were following in the footsteps of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He urged them to be instrumental in attracting people to Islam, emphasizing the immense rewards that await those who engage in da’wah.

Meanwhile, Brother Abdurahman encouraged the students to continue their pursuit of knowledge, urging them to be at the forefront of propagating the faith. The message was clear: this training was not the end, but the beginning of a lifelong commitment to learning and sharing.
As the attendees departed, they carried with them not only new skills but a profound sense of purpose. Empowered by the guidance of their leaders and the shared passion of their peers, they are now ready to be a new generation of callers to Islam, fulfilling a mission that promises both earthly impact and divine reward.
