A lady had been attending the new Muslim classes with the iERA team in Malawi although she was not a Muslim.
She had been one of those who had been paying attention in class although she barely asked questions neither did she answer them.
After one of the classes, the speaker casually asked her to give a summary of what she had understood from attending the classes.
She stood up and in detail, she explained the concept of the Islamic faith and the difference between the Oneness of Allah and what polytheism was.
This came as a shock to the Duat because, this lady was not a Muslim at that time and she had truly shown interest in what was being taught at the classes.
The young woman, further eloquently describe why Islam made so much sense to her. Her knowledge and understanding of the religion impressed the Duat, who could see the sincerity and passion in her words.
As the conversation continued, the Duat posed a follow-up question “Are you ready to accept Islam?” Without hesitation, she answered with a resounding “Yes” and proceeded to take her shahaadah, declaring her faith in one God and that Muhammad is a servant of God.
